In 2000, prior to the construction of Suncoast, an architectural model of the property was produced, displaying its wonderful beachfront position and Art Deco style. Phase 1 was opened in November 2002 to great acclaim, and Suncoast has become Durban's premier destination providing fun, entertainment, and all the thrills of a world-class entertainment complex.
